Info on older Castle speaker

Hi,
Just wondering if anybody can provide me with info on Castle Conway speakers bought in 1993. The plate by the terminal post just say "model Conway". I searched the internet for info/comments/reviews but did not find anything. It is like this speaker was never produced. I have heard lots of speakers and I can attest that these Conway speakers are excellent for the value. Very tight base, excellent sound stage and good mid range to high. I just would like to read reviews about them. Here are some pics. Note the stand for the speaker. The speaker just sit on it. Stand uses caster or spike.Attachment 7018

One of the local dealers here sells Castle. Nice stuff. My suggestion is to write to Castle regarding the info you seek.

Since Castle have been bought by IAG, I don't think they will be of any help regarding products from the original company. Anybody else came across these speakers?

Excuse my persistance, but have you TRIED to contact Castle? Generally these buy outs don't mean they wipe out the history of the company. Actually, alot of the time the bought company is allowed to run it's day to day independently.

Problems begin when they are sold 2 or 3 times.

I sent an email and still waiting reply.

I've never heard the original conways before but I have heard the winchesters and the more recent classic series speakers.

Unfortunately, I did not get any reply from Castle. Maybe someone else can come up with something.
