    Home built Sub??
I have been building subs for cars for almost 15 years. Recently I have had the desire to give it a try on my home theater. Who would I talk to to buy the amp that is installed on the sub? Building the enclosure is no problem. I'm just kinda in the dark about where to get the electrical hardware.

A couple more vendors for DIY projects. Adire's website also has some technical papers on the build parameters you need to follow to achieve certain performance goals.
