Epiphany Speakers....Interesting Video Clip

I live in Atlanta, GA and our local news ran this story about the White Van speakers so I thought some of you might want to see it. Here's the link:

They had a guy hook them up and run a sound test comparing them with some other speakers on some type of computer program.

Sigh, Barnum was right. I was born and raised in the Housing Projects of NY City. I had people coming to our door trying to seel stuff of questionable heritage since I was born... I still don't see how folks fall for this crap. Well as PT said "there's a sucker born every minute". Good to see the White Van Man exposed though.

That was a good link, brother. I remember these guys trying to unload this crap in LA all the time. They'd prey on college guys that were usually so drunk or hung over at the time that it sounded like a great deal. They were a little more sly at the time because the speakers they were trying to sell were call AR...except instead of Acoustic Research they were AUDIO Research. Tricky, huh? I didn't fall for it bit I can easily see how someone would.

A $7.00 tweeter is just about what they'd used in them S**T boxes. Gives you a good idea what the rest of the components are worth don't it?
