DCM for HT

Well after falling in love with the TF-600's I started digging around for other DCM gear. I have been lucky to get a CX series center and will be picking up a pair of CX-27's today to match the center. Looking forward to see how this front will work for HT. Anyone here familiar with the CX-27's?

Also my brother rescued a pair of Electro-Voice (Lyndon-model?) from what he can tell they are good working order but he is afraid to run them for too long since he does know their impedence. Do these ring a bell with anyone?
