    Pw2200

I just got my brand new pw2200 which sounds great now, and I can hardly wait till it is broken in. I just have that one thought that always nags me everytime I purchase home theater stuff - could I have done better, the pw2200 v2 cost me just under $1000 Canadian.

You're fine as it is. If you really want to improve the performance, you should do some measuring with a SPL meter and test tones. This will identify frequencies that have room-induced problems. If you find peaks of 10 db or more, that means that the room is creating a very boomy sound and you'll need to either do some acoustical treatments or use a parametric equalizer to correct the problem. By taming these peaks, it allows you to more accurately set the levels, and get a fuller sounding bass free from exaggerations.

Doing this type of correction will likely make a bigger difference than swapping out a subwoofer can.
