Center Channel Shelf - Samsung HLP5674W

Hi,

Its amazing how difficult it is to find a TV stand or entertainment center that will fit hefty center channels. Mine is a 32 pound Infinity that's 9 inches tall. So when I found out that the Samsung HLP5674W has a shelf, I'm excited. But first I wanted to know if anyone out there who has this TV can tell me their experience with it.

Do I dare put a center on TOP of the TV??

I was just at GoodGuys a few days ago and they had a silver metal stand on top of a Samsung DLP to hold the cc. I was basically a platter with a rounded lip on the front to help hold the cc and was supported by two adjustable posts that you would velcro to the back the steeply sloping cabinet. The salesman told me it was rated for 50lbs. I'm sorry, I didn't catch the manufacturer but you might check their website. Hey, at least you know something exists, right?
