Bose 301 vs other bookselves

it is funny but at the same time its sad. the 301 isnt the worst speaker i have ever heard its not bad but there are many others that are just as good or better for less money. the center and surround speakers are garbage.

I am a horticulturist by trade and i see the same thing with horticulture. people HAVE to have a 15 foot tall lilac and where do they plant it? right in front of a four foot tall window. their logic is I CAN PRUNE IT! well yes but you will have to prune it every other year. and it will look like a ratty mess. if they only planted their lilac where it should be they would be better off.

i guess my biggest pet peeve in the world is ignorance.

i wouldnt pay more than $100 for them however. look for a used pair. they can throw a fair fake image. in the rear of a surround system is a great place for them. there are MANY better sounding systems for $300!

Enough with reasoning...I just don't like them.
