Blown speaker

Hi I was hoping someone would be able to answer a question for me, if I were to blow a speaker would it likely damage any other aspect of my system if not replaced immediatly? I know it would distort but wasn't sure about if it would harm the amp. Thanks

If the speaker is blown I wouldn't try and keep on using it, even if it sounds ok. The melted voice coil can lead to a change in the impedance of the speaker which could possibly harm the amp.
