    best computer speakers under $100
What do you audio freaks suggest? I'm looking for the ideal speakers for recording&mixing (and obviously listening to) music under $100...I don't mind if the speakers don't necessarily emphasize games or movies. Right now I'm looking at logitech x-230, Creative Inspire T3000, Creative I-Trigue L3500 - reviews I read on these mostly complain about lack of mid-range/too much bass - help me out here please, I'm not a brand guy, I'm open to the best suggestions for my needs. THANKS

I would take a look at the Klipsch Ultra 2.0s.

Without a doubt. The Klipsch Pro Media 2.0s. I have had these almost one year and they still impress me.

Same here. The best $99 I've spent on audio.

    Another choice
Take a look and a listen to the JBL Creature II. It's usually well less than $100 on ebay, usually around $70 or so.

Another nod to the Klipsch Ultra.

For around $15 less you can get the Altec Lansing MX5020. The build quality is a lot better and you don't get the "crackling" from volume changes as a Klipsch-style budget reduction by not installing noise filters, but hey, the bass is a little boomier, which may be all the difference in the world. I keep the Altec MX5020s as travel speakers though, the piano black finish is impeccable and I feel the highs are better than the Klipsch.
