    Ar portable wireless speakers ws2pk63

Does anyone know how long the 6AA batteries will last in these speakers? The company doesn't know the answer. Thanks Ron

I use 2000mAH NiMH cells in mine, and they last about 10 hours on a charge. That makes for pretty much a full day of listening out in the yard or on the deck or around the house. I have two sets (24 cells) so I can charge one set while using the other. Additional note: My transmitter draws about 75mA, so would run for a day (24 hours) or so on a set of 10 NiMH's. My transmitter (I assume they are all pretty much the same) regulates the input power down to 8.0V, and the linear regulator requires 10.7V minimum input for regulation. The regulator (78M08) is mounted on enough of a copper area that I'd be comfortable running up to at least 14V input...so a set of 10 NiMH's should provide the appropriate voltage range. "Just sayin'. "

I would be different for everyone depending on how loud they play.
