I have had a pair of Allison floor speakers for a number of years. I did not realize the company was no longer in business and as I am trying to sell them, I wonder if anyone has any idea as to watch they could fetch.

    Serial nos are A13358 & A13359

Any insights would be much appreciated.

Model numbers would be more helpful than serial numbers. If you could attach a picture since condition is important to determine value.

Here are the images of the Allison speakers I mentioned in my previous post. I would appreciate it if you could give me some idea as to value.

Oh nooooooooo! Who painted them, and covered that beautiful wood?
They look like Allison Fours or maybe Ones? Hard to tell.
See eBay to get an idea how much they're selling for. I'd strip that paint off first, though.

    Well...
I've Allison 4's. Those ain't dem. They're either 2's or 1's depending on the size and speaker compliment. If you want to know how much they're worth look on ebay, in past sales or Audiogon.

Those would be Allison 1's, which were made for placement against a wall, but not in a corner.

Allison 3's were half of an Allison 1, split vertically. They were made specifically for corner placement. One could use an Allison 1 in the center of a wall and a 3 in a corner and obtain a balanced sound.

Good ol' Ray loved to use walls in his speaker design.

Any idea what these Allison 1's would bring on Ebay or elsewhere? They're in perfect shape, haven't been used in years.

A nice pair that hasn't been painted brought $546.98 recently on eBay.
