    Hey girls and boys,
I've purchased some 686's:D! and I've already got a problem.. How do normal banana plugs fit? The holes are way to big it seems, and the bananas can't go any deep because there's a plastic cap that stops them. I've obviously tried to remove them but they won't go. Nothing is specified in the manual, and I'm sure the dealer I got them from was using bananas.
I'll tell you all about them and the rest of my system soon if you like:)
In the mean time, I need you. Unless it's quicker to ask my dealer tomorrow haha
    Cheers
    AA.
(I will at long last be able keep them spinning ahhhhhhh:):):))

In the past when I have owned speakers and int amps designed or manufactured in England there were always plastic inserts in the bananas to meet safety requirements. I remember I had to find something sharp and thin to pry the inserts out of the CA 640A. A strong straight pin or anything pointed to wedge under the top of the cap and pry out.

Please let us know what you think about them.
