John Michael and the Admins.,
Your probably all over this already but I notice that each day there is a group of new members registering just about all day. It started with the letter "A" and now their up to "M" today. Tomorrow will likely be "N". Just guessing. :p
When you go into "Currently Active Users" and see what people are doing/looking at, there are always five or so people registering at the same time. First it was a bunch of people with the first letter A in their screen name, then B, then C, etc, etc. Now M today.
Again, maybe you're all over this and it's old new. Just wanted to give you and the new admins. a head's up.

JSE thanks and Bobsticks also brought this too my attention and I had noticed it. I e-mailed atomicAdam over my concerns that they might be using the site in a way that could cause problems. He is going to have an engineer make sure our system is safe. I belong to another site that was violated but I think AR is better designed. It could be a certain member with even more personalities. We may all turn red by morning.

Hah, today the "N's" are at it! Go figure. I knew something was amuck yesterday when I saw all those "M's" and the first name I saw was............................................Mar kw! :eek6: :frown2: :p

Just one more reason why this site is so lacking on security features. I'm not going to repeat here what I posted in another thread about joining The Home Theater Shack's forums... suffice to say it's way too easy to gain access to this site's Forums section. :rolleyes5:

Laughable at best IMO. I belong to quite a few other sites, and like I said, it's much more difficult for spammers to get past the new member registration forms on those forums.

I just got a porn-o-matic message from a "mini22" who, interestingly enough, has exactly zero posts to his/her name.
I guess this is the wild west where someone can join and immediately spam to their heart's content and thn leave, never to be heard from again.

One of our friendly new members PM'd me highly recommending a site called PornTube. Any of you hardlegs tried it? Is it free?

I guess the private message I was just notified about is probably spam too - I don't know, because when I tried to view it, the system told me I wasn't authorized to read my own private messages !

I heard from a guy I know who knows some dude that it's "ok" as far as those sites go. Mainly hosted by people who rip the free previews of other pay sites. He doesn't remember if there is a fee, and can't check because he is at work.
There are far better sites for sure, but for free he says thats for you to judge.
Not that I have ever visited those sites myself. Except for research.
