Question I seek the knowledge of the wise

Is it possible to edit a review?

I wrote a review about a preamp and dinged it (the preamp) because the remote would not bring the unit in and out of standby. A year and a half later, I am talking to a guy at Audio Asylum and he says his Harmony remote will cut a different model McCormack preamp on and off by holding down the mute button for several seconds.

I tried that with the factory remote and lo... we have an undocumented feature.

So anyway, I want to update my review with new-found knowledge and spread the word and carry on the fight for Truth, Justice, and the Americ.... uh, I want to update that review.

    Can it be done?

    Thank you.

As far I know, you can only post another review, but just call it a update from earlier post and explain what you have found.

Ahem, that does bring up the issue that reviews cannot be edited. AA, is this a feature that could be added?

I think that would open up too large a security hole that could be exploited. You know you can comment on a review, even you own.
