    Default == no subscription?
    First of all -- did you know there were two right arrow icons?

    And a thumbs-down icon, but no thumbs-up icon? Do you know us, or what? J/K...

    Is there any way that I can change some personal preference so that I don't have to change the Thread Subscription to "No Subscription" every time I post...or go back and unsubscribe in case I forget...I visit this forum all the time, so it's not like I need a whole lot of email reminding me to come back all the time...

    I've looked through the forum settings, and it appears that "No Subscription" should be the default. You're saying that when you post a New Thread or Reply, that the thread subscription option below is set to something other than No Subscription? What is it set to, and is it for every thread in every forum, and for both new thread posts AND replies?

    Check in your profile to see what you have saved in your subscription options:

    See if unsubscribing to everything helps. I'll try to click around and see what I can find, but whenever I post, everything seems to be okay for me - no subscriptions.

    I thought those were two separate options:

    Use 'Email Notification' by default? -- would be the one I want.
    Receive emails? -- would be the one that you're talking about.

    Just guessing, not an expert or anything.

    That may not have been there yesterday.

    Ahhh, my mistake. You're absolutely correct. I misread something I guess :)
