they say they've been working on this for two years already. As a child I would have to say this collection of books held my interest a bit more than LOTR. I hope they do as good a job as they did with LOTR.

the little featurette they had on quicktime looks pretty amazing, just as good if not better than LOTR since they've learned from there and are advancing as always. didn't realize they were going live action with it, i still remember the cartoon from way back when. loved the cartoon, can't wait to see the new version!

Anyone know if the PBS version from the 80s available anywhere?
Hope the silverscreen version does this collection justice.
