wharfedale Pacific Evolution?

Are these speakers any good? I have heard some on here recommend the diamond series, but these seem to be the step up from them. They seem to be going for pretty cheap online, specifically the Evolution 8.

Well the Evolution 10 won product of the year in Hi Fi News magazine for what that's worth to you.

Wharfedale has always made pretty decent speakers and for the last several years have been operating under the Quad and Mission umbrella. They only carry the Diamond line here and it is very good for the money. I keep track of my own reviews and have given the 8.2 a Best Buy.

I own Wharfedale Vanguard speakers(their flagship) from the late 1980s and they're still going strong.
