Converting a Home-Audio Aub Into a Car Sub?

Hey! What's up? Anyway, my dad has an Optimus Pro SW-12 subwoofer as part of his home theater system. It seems to be just a 12" subwoofer that he bought from Radio Shack. Anyway, I was wondering if there is anyway to use this as part of a car audio system. Thank you.

You could use the woofer, not the amp in it.

all i have to say is why? you would get better performance out of a $75 car sub from Circuit City or Best Buy

well if you want to do it all you have to do is remove the built in amp (if it's powered), get a car amp and run the speaker wires into the box and you're done
