BIC V1020 not playing through Onkyo TX-SR373

    Howdy all,

I've been trying to get my BIC V1020 to play through my SR373 and have had little success. I get only a trickle of bass when I put my hand on the bottom, and only with the sub volume at 10. The sub rumbles well through the "test tones" and "AccuEQ" auto calibration. For reference, I have the receiver hooked up to my PC via HDMI cable.

Here's what I've done to far:
    • confirm front speakers are set to "small"
    • confirm "EQ" and "late night" are set to "off"
    • tried both receiver sub outputs
    • set crossover to all levels (200, 150, 80, 50)
    • sub is set to "on"
    • sub crossover set to ~80
    • sub phase set to "0"
    • receiver set to "digital 5.1, 7.1, 9.1"
    • "HDMI" on receiver set to "amp"
    • "EQ" set to "off"

When the sub is set to "auto" the power light is red. I knew this wouldn't be a cake walk to set up, but lately I've been getting discouraged.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!
