    Newform 645 complementary amp, preamp

I bought 2 Newform 645s ~2005 and did the kitchen sink upgrade. These speakers continue to give my wife and I the chills, with a good source. The high end is exemplary, the mid and low with the ksu are decent. I've tried a variety of amps and receivers and don't notice the difference.
I need to replace the newforms and while I'm at it would like to move toward "more substance" and thump on the low end. I've tried a couple subwoofers and most sound muddy to me, even with adjustments.

My question is, if I love the high end on the Newforms, and I am going to buy a new system in the 10K price range, what would you recommend?

    Thanks.

Bel Canto EVo is a nice amp with zero to very low distortion.
