Hi, I too karaoke on my HT system and really enjoy it even though I am nowhere near star search capability. Do you have a standard DVD player? If so then it is simply a matter of getting a microphone mixer. Shure makes an excellent one but there are many more on the market. You will have to use the L/R RCA jacks (ie analog) to hook it up. All you do is connect the L/R output of your DVD to the mixer and then run the L/R from the the mixer to your receiver/amp. Here is a model from shure (they can be found on ebay for about 1/2 the price).

Shure has many more mixers too (including digital), but the price increases with more capability and inputs.

    Sure

I'm not sure what you are after but I will post assuming that this is not for home theater use. A good studio quality amp that I can recommend and also has high customer acceptance is the alesis RA300. It is a dual channel amp with separate volume controls for each channel. Here is a link:

Here are some very good monitors (speakers) from parts express. I have dealt with parts express and they are a very good company. They do require assembly and basic soldering skills (and I mean basic) but you can't find a better monitor for these prices. Here is a link.

The BR-1 is there least expensive but has very satisfactory reviews. And the price is awsome.

Finally, if you need some low bass here is a powered sub kit from parts express that should work well as long as you dont push it to hard.

By the way, that amp can be used with anything and is a good amp so you may wish to keep it around for a long while. If you need anymore help just post again. I check periodically.
