DVD Playeres for as low as $19.99

During the Thanksgiving holiday I notice a lot of flyers advertising low priced DVD players. Are these any good. I went to the the store this morning and notice some were buying as many as six. It seems that everyone on line had at least one.

A quick, one word answer to your question is ... NO!

Although pricing of DVD players has come waaaay down over the past year or so, there are limits to just how low the price can get without seriously hampering reliability. Some would argue that at the price of only $20, who cares about how reliable it is? IMO, this qualifies as very fuzzy logic and a total lack of smarts. My advice? Run, don't walk away from such a piece of garbage as this is sure to be.
