    Question static discharge from receiver?

    My Onkyo HTR-510 makes a slight static discharge sound every couple minutes or so. It isn't too distracting or loud. I was wondering if all electrical components do this and I am just not noticing it. It's a click sound that's very quick and quiet. It sounds as if the metal is adjusting a bit from the heat from the unit. Any similar experiences?

    That is not normal and I would try and figure out the source of it.
