    Always enjoyed him in the Harry Potter films and his many other roles.

    That one was another shock for me this week. I did't realize how old Rickman was for one thing, and had no idea that he'd been fighting cancer. A sad loss.

    Yes, he was a fine actor. He appeared various popular films including Harry Potter of course. He made a great villain; I remember him as an especially evil comic villain in Robin Hood, Price of Thieves.

    He played in a lot of British films and TV that North Americans don't get to see unless they seek them out.
