    Question Old Samsung LN40A550P3FXZA

    Old Samsung LN40A550P3FXZA

    I have an old Samsung LN40A550P3FXZA TV which when turned on after being off for a few hours, starts up with a lot of digital picture interference/breakup and no sound. After a few minutes when it's had a chance to warm up a little then everything is fine. What could be the cause of this behavior? If ordering a part to fix it myself is worth it, I would be willing to do that.


    P.S. I have already replaced the TV with a new one, but if it's worth fixing it as I said, I can use it in the garage or exercise room. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    UPDATE: I noticed that if I leave the TV on the red light will blink and the TV will turn itself on and off about 3 or 4 times then the picture will come on.
