    British sitcom 'Vicious'

I accidentally ran cross this sitcom from UK on local PBS channel and immediately got hooked. Vicious TV show premeired in 2013 and star Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi, as an elderly gay couple who have been together for 48 years with a love/hate relationship.

The back and forth conversation between them is very hilarious, and chimestry betwen them works very well. Ian McKellen (Freddie) was a budding actor and Derek Jacobi (Stuard) worked in a bar when they first met.

But their careers are pretty much over and their lives now consist of making sure that their aged dog Balthazar is still breathing, And hurling insults at each other, and sometimes at their guests. Very funny stuff.

It comes on locally on Sunday night. I've been watching it. It's IMO hilarious. When watching it I'm reminded of a live stage play. The main set has that sort of look/feel to it. I like it a lot!

Yes it does and it is also in HD

I wish PBS would move time slot of this show to more friendly spot as right now it comes on 1:30 am sunday nights. My favorite charactor is Derek Jacobi (Stuard). His line delievery and body language crack me up.

Thanks guys. I just set up the DVR to record it. We love the Britcoms and some of the dramas too, like DCI Banks and Death in Paradise.

If you get it over the air as I currently do it's in HD.

I'm switching to FIOS on the 21'st. But it will still be in HD.
