How can I hook up a PS4 to my speakers?

So right now I have a PS3 hooked up to my speakers and a subwoofer. I have the HDMI cable from the ps3 connected to my tv for video. Then the ps3 has a port for AV cables, so I have those cables connected to my subwoofer that are connect to my speakers, so that's how I get the sound from my ps3. Since the up coming ps4 only has HDMI and not the AV cables, I won't be able to do the same trick. I do not have a receiver. I only have my TV, PS3, comcast cable box, subwoofer with speakers.
If I need to buy a receiver, what would I have to do and need? (cables and things like that).

Getting a receiver is the only way I know of, then you can hook all your devices to the receiver and then an HDMI from receiver to TV. The receiver should be all you need but that depends on whether your sub and speakers can be hooked to the receiver independently.
