Yes, I just snagged one for the stereo. I like it a lot. Might be too small for surround sound at loud volumes, but it's perfect for audio. That price seems a little high.

I ended up ordering the SVS SB-1000. It got great reviews and seems like it will fit well with my 2.1

SVS has always been well regarded. I think you made a good choice. I read the reviews and it sounds perfect for the money.

The Velodyne was good too, but it should have been priced at about $150 +/- $50, due to it's age.

I used to sell Velodyne's back when I sold high end audio in the 90's and they are good subs and pretty clean seeing that they are servo controlled. I would add that they are very good for the money but you are right $349 is too much. I really think the SVS will serve you better if you are double duty with music and theater.

I didn't realize how old it was. The gentleman on the phone mentioned it was $950 new but he didn't say how long ago haha. I'm pretty happy with my choice. The sub will be pairing up with my PSB B6's that I purchased a few months ago.
