Sad News For Fans of Caravan

For all you older prog. guys. Sad news from the progressive band Caravan. Long time drummer and percussionist Richard Coughlin passed away Dec. 1st after a long illness. He was 66 years old and had been in failing health for years. I pulled out some of my Caravan collection and had a mini tribute concert in honor. I saw them once in concert in 1975 when they opened for Fairport Convention. Excellent concert. The band went through many personnel changes over the years but band front man Pye Hastings and Richard remained a constant. RIP Richard, your music will live on.

Discovered Caravan long after their prime, and glad I did. Those first few early to mid-70's albums are classics.
