    At the Movies In April

I saw Jurassic Park in theaters back in '94, and now it is back in theaters in 3D.

    Ranked by release date:

Tomorrow You're Gone: Indebted to the man who saved his life behind bars (Willem Dafoe), Charlie must now carry out a murder to settle the score.

Jurassic Park 3D:With his remastering of the epic into a state-of-the-art 3D format, Spielberg introduces the Academy Award-winning blockbuster to a new generation of moviegoers.

The Company You Keep: Jim Grant (Redford) world is turned upside down, when a brash young reporter exposes his true identity as a former 1970s antiwar radical fugitive wanted for murder.

Stevie Nicks: In Your Dreams:In Your Dreams, produced by former Eurythmics mastermind Dave Stewart. Here, we get an intimate look at the creative collaboration of Stewart and Nicks in her home studio.

Earth's Final Hours: When bizarre radiation storms suddenly erupt, defense systems are wiped out, polar outposts are incinerated and space debris blasts holes clear through our planet.

Scary Movie V: The latest installment of the Scary Movie franchise includes send ups of Paranormal Activity, Mama, Sinister, The Evil Dead, Inception and Black Swan.

The Lords of Salem: From the singular mind of horror maestro Rob Zombie comes a chilling plunge into a nightmare world where evil runs in the blood.

Oblivion: On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one man's confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind.

The Numbers Station: After his latest mission goes disastrously wrong, veteran CIA black ops agent Emerson Kent is given one last chance to prove he still has what it takes to do his job.

The Big Wedding: THE BIG WEDDING is an uproarious romantic comedy about a charmingly modern family trying to survive a weekend wedding celebration that has the potential to become a full blown family fiasco.

3D TV prorbably would not work for me at home. There is too much distraction including surfing the net while watching a movie since PC is hooked up to TV also.

I just got around to watching Jurassic Park 3D, and I think they did a pretty darn good job of rendering a 2D movie to 3D. The added 7.1 soundtrack does more to bringing the sound into the room to subtly match the 3D video. The 5.1 track from the original release does not do it in this area, even though it is very good in its own right.

Smoke, If you are going to do all of this while watching a movie, you are not really watching the movie. Stop behaving like a teenager without any focus...LOL

Tom Cruise movie looks interesting, but the rest of these movies look like "B" movies.

Does watching movies in segments count

I don't think I ever sat down and watched a whole movie at one time.

Its sad to see Robert De Niro's career end up on cruise control the last decade or so - shame

I've never seen any version of the Scary Movie franchise all the way through, just bits and pieces - for the easily entertained

I have no idea what kind of project Stevie Nicks has in mind, since she's pretty much sworn off recording albums (with Fleetwood Mac anyway)

The rest can wait for their DVD/BluRay releases. Looks like May is the month for movies.
Repost this on your wall if you love Jesus.

Actually the original "Scary Movie" done by the Wayan's Bro's was a VERY good spoof on the "Scream" series which was almost a spoof on itself, truth be told.

    Worf
