    Thorens 165td VS Sanyo TPB2

    Hi
    So iv'e got these two phono's and i have some questions..

    1.Wich one is better?

    2.Im going to buy a needle for one of them ..what kind of needle do i need for each one?both of them contains the original head-shells.

    To help us help you pictures of the tables or post links to the tables. Initially I would say Thorens beats Sanyo. As far as a new cartridge and stylus we would need to know your budget.

    The thorens is priced quiet high (several hundreds dollars) but i cant find any information about the Sanyo.

    As far as a cartridge and the stylus..i'm just a regular 'homely' user so a budget of 20-40 dollars seems fine.

    The Thorens is generally regarded as the better of the two. Something like the Audio Technica AT95E should be suitable. There's a current ebay listing for some at $34.95.
