Oh man I was all excited when I heard they were coming out with a new album with a new singer but it's not a new singer but a new drummer why didn't they replace the singer he sucks why did they replace the drummer he was badass??!!??

Indeed, Portnoy is one amazing drummer.
Apparently he is not an amazing bandmate.........I think the story is he was a pain in the ass and, even though he has become a business, he is not a monopoly.......during a monopoly moment, he got pissy and quit one day so they took the opportunity to find a new bandmate -- even though Portnoy tried at one point to renegotiate and come back.
