Hello, from a fellow audio wingnut...

..., or would audio geeks be better described as "wirenuts"?

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and look forward to posting with you!

    Welcome Ged,

What kind of music do you like?

Actually, my musical tastes vary widely. Led Zeppelin to Mozart and most things in between, as long as they are done well. I really like piano music, Diana Krall, and great jazz!

I actually joined the forum to post info to someone's question about the audio review/efe diy speakers down in the How-To Articles section, but I still can't reply to it yet.

Thanks. I'm glad I finally joined. I've wandered in and out of this forum as a guest over the years (mostly interested in the DIY stuff).

Pretty basic stuff. A Kenwood receiver (VR-407, I think), a couple of Polk bookshelf speakers, and a Kenwood sub. Probably my best contribution to the forum would be as a researcher (I'm a voracious reader that tries to turn over every leaf if I can). I don't have a lot of personal experience to contribute, I'm afraid.
