    Howdy from Texas

    I stumbled in here while looking for information on Zenith Allegro speakers, and decided to stay awhile. Greetings from Houston, y'all.

    Hi Bill, welcome to the forum. When I was a teenager we had a pair of those Zenith speakers, I remember being surprised by the heavy build of them but really don't remember the sound and my reference back then I'm sure is quite different than now any way.

    I also have a pair of Model Sixes which were the last speakers Henry Kloss designed. Kloss was a pioneer in audio having founded Advent, AR, KLH, and Cambridge Soundworks.

    The Model Six has that great old New England sound and will embarrass lots of costlier speakers. I don't think the Allegro's would compete with your Model Sixes. Welcome aboard.
