Your thoughts on this driver.

A few weeks ago i bought a pair of speakers.

Mallorcans!

Surely not the best that Tannoy could make.

But the Monitor Golds in them.

So far i like what i hear from them. Very good recordings sound as such. Some music is just unlistenable. Blanch.
One thing id love to do is try them in a larger cabinet.

So over time, I mostly listen to these. When i try other speakers. i invariably go back to these. Even hearing nuances in the music i havent heard. Even when other speakers are quite revealing.......maybe its the point source where the sound comes from.

Granted i have a few other speakers that are very good. None perhaps on the grand scheme of sound though. Until you hear them....


Other speakers include Dynaco A 25, Koss CM 1020, Infinity RSe, RS7(both of Infinitys with powered sub attached) Ditton 15s.





Any of you with with experience with the Monitor gold?
I would like to hear of your impressions in different cabs with these drivers. Among other things of course.

Well - we might not have any experience with these. Sorry, sometimes it happens. There is so much stuff out there.
