    Receiver for Parts Express speakers


    1000 Watts per channel!!!! I'm going to blow up some speakers!!!!!!

    This is what I'm going to get to go along with those $30 speakers from Parts Express. It can be had for less than $150.

    I wonder how modable it is? Freq response is 40-20K.

    Ever heard of Electrophonic and instantaneous peak power (IPP)? Let's do some Jethro math. AB amps are about 70% efficient which would mean that the unit would draw 23 amps at rated output. Such would require at the very least using a 20 amp IEC plug (which it does not) and a 30 amp circuit breaker. Pure BS - but funny.

    Only thing, parts express is usually a pretty good company, can't believe they are selling this
