    Thrift store speakers spotted today

The local thrift store has the following all priced at $25 a pair:

    Bolivar 125
    Pioneer CS-A31
    Polk 10B

Only the cheap looking Bolivars need re-foaming. Any worth considering?

I'd grab the Polks in a heartbeat!

Like luvtolisten said, the Polks are the best and grab them before they are gone

By the time I got back to the thrift store those big old ugly Polk 10's were history. The audio gods must know that I have way too many speakers for any normal human being. I did find an old Technics receiver with analog tuner which I absolutely did not need but couldn't pass up for $5.

One thing I've learned about thrift store buys, you must be ready to buy on the spot and not procrastinate.
