    Kenwood Model 9G

I have a chance to pick one of these up at a reasonable price. Does anyone have any experience with this particular Kenwood?

    Thanks
    Randy

Not familiar with that exact model though it is somewhat similar to my Model Eleven III. Pretty good vintage receiver with good all around sound. $250 is not out of the ball park if it really is in mint condition. I seem to recall somewhere probably the Kenwood forum that this was only offered in the Japanese market so it might be somewhat rare over here.

Thanks for the heads up Dak I go through Hampton every day to and from work.
That is a good price but a little leary when they don't include pics.
    No room for it anyway..........

Come on, there is always a spot for something new.

There is no way this receiver can be 230wpc, that guy is a liar

You are right.... I am picking up a Adcom 545 II tomorrow.

Seller is probably just reading the power info on the back of the receiver and does not have a clue that does not translate to wpc...
