I just got Neil Young tickets... anyone else seeing him on this tour?

For Father's Day, I bought my dad a couple of tickets to see Neil Young at Northrup Auditorium on July 29th... this'll actually be the first time either of us has seen him in concert despite a few near misses in the past. He's supposed to be doing one acoustic and one electric set... at least that's my understanding. Anyone else seen him recently or planning to see him on this tour?

I didn't realize Neil was on tour. I haven't seen him and although I like him I'm not sure I'd pay the money to see him. Only because you never know what type of show he is going to do and he's one of those guys who plays what he wants despite what his fans like. Also, for me, I have some Neil material I love and heard stuff I didn't buy and wouldn't care to hear again. He seems like a fascinating individual as well.

I'm seeing Tool Saturday and have Rush tix for later this summer. That's it so far this year. All we seem to be getting this year are the big festival tours and those Classic Rock type tours. Last years summer season was much better.

Nope - the acoustic part made me consider it though. I saw a noisy Neil in '89 with Sonic Youth opening...that was a fun show and the only time I've seen him.

    You can say that again.
I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

If you say the word 'gullible' very slowly it sounds just like oranges.
