    Canton speakers

Everyone - I still have a set of bookshelf Canton Fonum 300 speakers that were made in the former West Germany. I bought them in the early 90s but have forgotten much about them. I remember that there wasnt enough of a low end.

Does anyone know about them? Thanks!

No I dont know about the Canton Fonum 300, but I have seen pictures of them before and they look like the 403's but without the same mid-woofer. The mid-woofer on the 403 is aluminum. And the 403's have bass but you gotta place the right in your system. Great speakers.

I found some information online. They are rated 80-140W and were made 1989 - 1991

    Hi,

What exactly do you need to know?

I've never heard and seen them alive, but here is specification:

PS: Me and Frenchmon are Canton lovers.

Here in Portugal, they seem to available by mail order. I have yet to see them on the shop floor in order to merit an audition. Sorry, canīt be of further help.
