    Talking vintage gear

All of my audio gear is from the 80s except for a 5.1 reciever which I bought about 2000. I started buying audio gear while in the ARMY stationed in Germany. I bought a JVC RX-500 receiver, DBX 3bx III, 120x, 224x, 10/5 EQ, Pioneer PD-M550 6 disk changer,Yamaha K-720 cassette deck, and a pair of BOSE 901 series V speakers. All these items I have been listening to for over twenty years with no change in sound. My reciever has began to quit, my cassette deck belt broke, and my cd player stopped playing. Recently. I plan to up grade to a power amp pre amp combo soon. Maybe a Emotiva amp preamp or a Monster power amp with a good preamp. If anyone knows anything about these amps let me know!

We know everything about the power amps and preamps. What brand are you interested in and how much are you going to spend? Are you looking for vintage gears or for the new stuff? Emotiva is the right choice if you are looking for new generation power amps.
