4 new things

I just got today some new Kenwood stuff! Here is the list:

Kenwood VR-616 Surround Receiver

Kenwood KC-X1 Preamplifier

Kenwood KM-209 Power Amplifier

Kenwood DV-605 5 Disc DVD Player

from all those 4 the preamplifier and the power amplifier are the good stuff for me! Now I can replace my old KC-106 preamplifier and get rid of the tuner because the new preamplifier has internal tuner!

Nice find. Those vintage Kenwood amps produce much more power than rated. I picked up a KM-105, KC-105 and KT-75 for my girl late last year.
The KM-105 is rated to give 125WPC into 8 Ohms. It actually gives 178 into 8 Ohms and 252WPC into 4 Ohms. I would expect your KM-209 to be an overachiever also.

Yeah JoeE I have 2 of the KM-106 and I am very happy with the kenwood gears!

I have other brands home as well but this is just the kenwood! I am planning to get one of silver amplifier!

I like the KT-75 and the KC-105 how they match with the blue color! I had KC-206 but I got rid of it! It was supposed to be better than the KC-105 or 106 but not and in my system! It made the sound worse than before!

Next step is to get the C1 or C2 preamplifier to the collection

The thing I like on the receiver VR-616 is that it has for power subwoofer and at the same time it has internal amplifier for just regular subwoofer so I can use either one of them!
