    New view, same great sound...

I moved my rig to the other side of the room. I have now incorporated my fireplace and improved the comfort level. WAF is huge on this one.

Looks very nice and cozy. I can see the misses and you enjoying some music together. Glad she approves because from what I have been told that makes life easier.

Now you have to change out the T-Bar ceiling panels with acoustically absorbant ones. LOL

My friend did a whole room in LP's. It was too much for my taste, but I do enjoy the border.

The photo is deceiving, they're out about 1.5 feet. I've moved them out a bit more since, and they're now about 2 feet out. Don't want to do much more than that as it forces my listening seat back, and exposes the speakers to my kids' wrath.

What happened to getting those speakers up off the floor so the tweeter is at ear level where it should be?

Since I know you're not talking about the giant floor standers in the photo, refresh my memory...

I thought you built a few angled forward stands a few months ago and posted pics.

Those don't look like GIANT floorstanders to me and from the pic, the tweeter is not at ear level....or is it?

    These are giant floorstanders

It's perception, the rack is enormous and dwarf's the speakers...

    Sound Dynamics 1200 SMT
    3' 2" H * 1' 2"W * 1' 2"D
    Approx 65lbs each.

    ...they're big!!

That puts the tweeter somewhere in the middle of your chest and not at ear level.

Perhaps they could stand to be an inch or two higher, but I think you're overstating things. Maybe you should get a smaller chair for your place...
