    Decent speaker cable for amp...

I have been given, yes given, a Yamaha RX-V457 amp. Now it's my first amp and as such I haven't got a clue where to go next. Obviously speakers and cables are a must, so what do you recommend cable wise??

Yes, bluejeans has a fan base here...

I've never used them in a system but many of our community posters are very positive about this product line.

I checked out this site, http://www.soundstagenetwork.com/ , had a look at their buying guides and found this.

DH Labs Silver Sonic White Lightning Interconnects

I agree with the Blue Jeans Cable. They're not much more cost than the stranded cable that comes off the roll at Home Depot, and the BJC is twisted and wrapped.

Also check out signalcable.com. I use their IC's and am very pleased.

Whatever you get just make sure it's no smaller than 18 gauge.
