When I Connect My BD Player I get a Double Image? Why?

I have a SONY BDP-S300 BD Player that I am connecting to an older Sony KV-36XBR200 TV via Component Video, but for some reason my screen looks cut in half vertically with the same image on both sides of the screen.

Is it possible that my BD player is trying to display at a different resolution that the Sony KV-36XBR200 can support??

Have you tried pushing the twin-view button on your TV remote?

HAVE YOU CHANGED the res to 480i?
Thats the only thing your set can run.

Went IN the setup and that fixed it.

I liked it fine.
But it was a bit slow, and while the sound was fantastic I couldnt be sure as to what I
was getting, except for lpcm, which is becoming less popular.
Since I got an Integra 6.9 with DTS MASTER and DOLBY TRUE HD I got a player that would pass these so that I could get the "light" on the front of my receiver.
So I got the latest Sharp Aquos player.
ITS GOT NET, all the latest codecs, and is a lot faster, if a bit cruder(the menus are 16 bit
instead of the Sonys 32 bit) but the pic and sound are superb.
But the pic on the Sony cant be beat, and SONY HAS GREAT UP-CONVERSION.
I think you'll enjoy it, in other words.
Just be sure to put the disc in early and then pop the popcorn, so you will have it loaded by the time you settle down.

I had some experience with a friends ps3 also, and while some think I don't like the PS3
I thi8nk its fine, just not for non-gamers, requires a little more interaction than some
are used to.
