    by coyotes

never heard of her but thought some of you Canadians had. Apparently, she had quite a career ahead of her.

Nope. I hadn't heard of her. Initial reports on the attack didn't even mention that she was a singer. That didn't come out in the news until after her death.

What a freaky way to die. My only run in with a coyote, he looked more scared of me than I was of him. I think it's very unusual for them to attack people.

I don't have time now, but we could probably search her out on You Tube if anyone is interested.

Coyotes? Seriously? They're usually REALLY skittish creatures. We get 'em in our yard from time to time, and they'll run off as soon as you open the door and yell at them.

    What a bizarre story.

This is BS. I've been around a LOT of coyotes when doing night photography in the desert. They are more skittish than cats. Wolves can be aggressive if they are hungry enough, but coyotes? No way!

There has to be some extenuating circumstances (like she was passed out and covered with meat sauce) we're not hearing about.

Sounds to me like she was one of those tree-hugger types. Maybe she tried to pet one.

And let's be honest now... we've all been there before.
