    The Legendary Jay Miller Sessions

Hey Everyone, I bought a beat up copy of Lazy Lester- Poor Boy Blues. Its amazing!! For anyone who thinks Stevie Wonder wears the harp crown, think again. This guy can blow!

After some careful research, I have come to discover that the producer, Jay Miller, was an icon himself. He produced a heap of albums all by the top musicians of the day. A club owner, he found the best and then snatched them up before a major studio could. Some of these went onto deals and careers while others melted into obscurity.

Some other names include Lightning Slim, Leroy Washington and Harpo Slim. Apparently, not one record that Miller produced is a turkey. I have a project on the go right now, trying to find every Live at the Filmore East record. Once that's through I will try and put together a Jay Miller collection.

Anyone know anything about this guy? Was I the only one in the dark? Livin Da Blues, you heard of this cat or what?
