    Sansui S-1130 Tower Speakers

    I saw those Sansui S-1130 Tower Speakers for sale on craigslist and the guy wants $40 for them. Is that a good deal or not? Here is a picture of them, the big tower speakers.

    thats a pretty cheap price for any floorstanding speaker barring that they are in good shape and all the drivers work. I do not have any knowledge of the old Sansui speakers but if you are into the vintage speaker thing and they are well rated by the online press then I guess go for it. To me it looks like that the woofers need a little attention in the dust cap department.

    Sansui was not noted for their but some of the Sansui SP models have a following among vintage fans. These I believe are later Sansui speakers and unless they are excellent conditon $40 is a little high IMO.
