    AKG K171 Studio 55Ohms

    Aynone have an opinion on these? As compared to my beloved K240S?

    I haven't heard any higher end AKG. Have you listened to any Sennheiser before?

    Peadawg I used to be Senn exclusively, only in the last few years have I loosened up...I have just bought some noise cancelling and am looking for another pair to fill another void. I am looking at these vs. HD 280 pro vs. Grado SR 80/125....I buy and sell regularily on Ebay and have sampled most out there...I just picked up an old school pair of Koss 4AA, w/ hard shell case for $25!!! Some old lady in the locale... I think I will sell them...
