    Can You Name This Band?

Tuned in the Concert Channel on Verizon last night and was really intrigued by this band. Didn't catch their name. The lead singer played a stand up bass guitar that he had sitting on a chair and he wore a rubber pigs head. Not sure if this was his thing, or just a strange inpulse. The girl in the band was of Asian decent and played an electric sitar type of instrument and she wore a bright green wig. Now if I hadn't had the sound up, the sight of these two might have had me changing channels quickly. But they had a sound that caught my ear and made me want to hear more. If anybody saw the performance or has an idea who they are, I would appreciate it. Thanks Guys.

I saw that awhile back, damn if I can remember the name. Yer right, it was a great performance. I initially thought the same as your first impression, 'till I listened for a bit.

That's it guys. Thanks a bunch. The track that I caught was called "D's Diner" from the Purple Onion album. I'd like to find a DVD of the concert that I saw. Wow, you guys never cease to amaze me.
